Picture Story

Beautiful View from Naddi View Point (Dharamsala) November 1, 2018  I love this picture particularly because I can relate it to life in so many ways: ༄ The turns on the road talking about the turns we have/take in life. The upper road being more wide and clear talks about how we fight our troubles and reach the brighter side. It shows how bright the light is at the end of the tunnel. Keep doing your Best! ༄ The picture also talks about view point, what you see through this small lens of the telescope may not always be the exact same of what I see. Thus, it is impossible for two different people to feel the same, have the same opinion and view point all the time. So, it doesn’t mean someone else is wrong just because his/her opinion is different. Respect people's opinion. ༄ This picture also talks about how beautiful a view is when the place is clean and bright, so don’t throw garbage, keep your city clean. And keep some sunshine on your face :...

The Best Part of Traveling

Image
I love traveling not only because I like the idea of seeing different places and exploring /experiencing new things but also because I get to see new different faces. I am always curious about people’s lives and wonder what it would be to live it. The fact that we are so different - distinct in appearances, culture & values, thoughts, feelings, yet the same - of flesh, blood and stardust  is lovely.  This Beautifully dressed up woman was enjoying the view of the magnificent Amber Fort in Jaipur (October 2018) when i caught her in action! Me, wondering what was on her mind.  This beautiful Rajasthani lady was selling handmade Souvenirs. She had such a warm smile. (Jaipur, October 2018) I get to see rich people who own skyscrapers & big dream bungalows in the heart of the city, eat in star studded restaurants and drive Porsche. The others who don’t even have a roof over their head, the crying naked kids, people begging for a penny almost getting hit b...

The Extra Special Sunset

Image
The Sunset View from the Dalai Lama Temple, Dharamsala Generally I’m a sunset girl, in fact I love everything that makes the sky beautiful from sunrises to clear blue skies to cirrocumulus clouds.  ️ But this sunset is particularly special, happened the evening before visiting H.H the Dalai Lama. A very very special moment for me, a dream come true indeed.  I have considered H.H my root guru ever since I have known anything about a Lama, the Guru I worshiped/prayed to, in-fact I saw/see a living god in him. I am a huge fan of his talks, books, life philosophies, his non violence journey and more. It has always been my dream/wish to visit him and see him in person one day.  It would be unfair to bluntly state that Dharamsala is the most beautiful city I ever visited because there were some equally beautiful cities. But to say the city is a very different one from the rest would do justice. I felt a different level of calmness and peace. The city simply is a...
