Hello everyone. My passport name is Binita Lhadon Ghalley, long right? Helpless here, that's how my parents preferred to name me. :P But wait you can call me Bini, my 'kind of' pet name :) . I am a 28 years old female. I was born on October 8, 1986 at 11:00 AM on a Wednesday. I work with the Royal Government of Bhutan. I live in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan..;) 
An aspiring blogger/writer, an amateur photographer, an introvert, a  book lover, a big watches/bags craze, a true family girl, spiritual, shy  and quiet. My pastimes include writing, reading, shopping, music, movies, taking pictures and photo editing. Lately, I love watching clouds and getting lost into nature too much :)

My parents live in Samtse, a small town in the southern belt of Bhutan. I am the eldest among my two siblings. I live with my siblings in Thimphu.  I have quite a lot of friends. Of course some are more closer than the others.. :) 

I am blogging because it’s on the top list of my New Year Resolution 2014. If you ask me why, the answer is simple I always wanted to become a blogger since I don’t exactly remember when. By the way, it’s the fifth time I am noting it down. Somehow, I could not start, neither because I am a buzy woman nor a lazy one, but I never had that determination to start it and always landed up doing something else.  Finally I am realizing I should start it right away. So here I am now.

Relatively new to blogging, I aspire to write mostly on personal development. Here in, you will find some of my personal experiences, self awareness, inscription about my favorite people (Well, yes I am a people lover too) and some random thoughts.

I welcome you all to this little world of mine ~ _ ~ So stay tuned ;) I shall keep updating.. :)

108-Kora (circumambulation) of Dra Karpo Lhakhang in Paro, Bhutan

In Buddhism, kora (which means circumambulation) is the act of walking around the sacred site in a clockwise direction. Buddhist pilgrims do kora of the religious temples, sites, objects, etc to gain spiritual merits; cleanse sins of past and present lives and purify negative karma; and to attain spiritual and mental enlightenment. Pilgrims usually recite mantras and say prayers as they do the rounds. Bhutan being a Buddhist country, Kora is very prevalent and no temples are usually seen without pilgrims doing koras. However, the trend of 108-kora is quite a new thing in Bhutan, started or at least grew its popularity only a few years ago. It may have existed earlier amongst the elders but it became a good new thing to talk about and show off on social media handles recently, me being one of them :D. Trip to Iseltwald, Lake Brienz & Lake Thun, Interlaken and Sigriswil 🇨🇭

Let me start by stating, Switzerland in Autumn/Fall is a Paradise, perfect weather, colorful leaves/forest, a touch of snow on the mountains, autumn flowers (especially the wild ones), blue sky turning into pink after sun set – truly truly a Nature Heaven. Fall, especially the second half of September till the first half of November is the best time to visit Switzerland, I strongly recommend. We started our journey early in the morning from Geneva in a car, so that we have enough time for sightseeing, we planned to visit many places. Our host was a lovely Bhutanese family in Bern, where we stopped for a cup of tea on the way and unloaded our stuffs. From Bern, we were joined by the host family. We drove to Iseltwald first, a beautiful, serene and a colorful village  on the south shore of Lake Brienz,  well known for the filming of popular K-drama, Crash landing on you. In life, you meet many special friends, friends who change your life just by being a part of it, friends who make you laugh until you can't stop, friends who are there when the world seem dark and empty, friends who make you believe that you are just very special. The two special people I am going to talk about here are not amongst those friends whom I met through my life’s journey, not just special friends but much more than that. We were destined to be together anyhow.
